"We had our son's 4th birthday at Joy Jozi and it was incredible - the food was great, the venue awesome, and the service was really on the ball despite it being super busy. Thank you to our server Cleo for being so attentive, and to the staff on a well-run establishment. Kids and adults loved it!"

"We had a great time, 8 of us and all adults and kids really enjoyed the food, staff was friendly. Lots to keep our 1, 6 and 8 year olds busy. There are comments that it’s pricey, but everything is super clean and there are kids minders to help. So all round well worth it. We’ll be back !"

"This was our first time here, we arrived and parked on the street as they have very limited parking, not a problem as the road is not busy on the weekend. We just walked into the seating area and we were stopped by the receptionist, apparently you have to book in advance and pay for little ones upon arrival - I did not know and there are no boards or notices stating this. The receptionist lady had a very rude attitude towards us, and I overheard the table next to us say the same. If I had not gone back to reception and paid the kiddy entrance fee, we probably would have left. The playground is absolutely amazing and well kept, they have child minders walking around and looking after the small ones. They are so friendly and really keep their eyes on the kids. They charge a kiddy entrace fee of R100 and this includes the flapjack kiddy breakfast. They have a nice menu and everyone will find something they like on it. The rest of the staff are really friendly and quick to assist. The food was nice, well priced and arrived quickly after ordering."

"The area is beautiful. Kids enjoyed so much. They have pottery painting , jungle gyms, bracelet making, and sooo much more . So sad they are not halaal so we settled for hot drinks . Wish they were halaal."

"One of the best places we have been to with our 20 month old. We were there for just under 3 hours and he loved every second. We will definitely be back! There is a sandpit, water play, slides, swings, ect that were all age appropriate for our son so plenty to keep them busy. There is a R100 fee to pay for the little ones but included in that was a breakfast. There is also so much for kids to do there that the R100 entrance fee is very reasonable as all play places have an entrance fee and it is usually charged hourly. Outdoor play area and indoor play area was amazing! Child minders are also around to make sure the kids are safe. Food was lovely and atmosphere so relaxing with their beautiful setup. They have a really nice change/nappy room and the staff (hostesses, waiters) are extremely helpful and friendly. What a gem of a place for parents!!"

"Joy Jozi has great entertainment for children. Really wonderful facilities. Many jungle gyms, shade playground, tree house, arts and crafts, soft play room, water splash pad (pack a kiddies swimming costume). Beautiful shade seating for adults to have their meal. Service however is not great, staff make mistakes and are not very fast. Meals forgotten and brought at different times. All meals with toast or bread, were burnt or had black ruminants on it. Food was ok, nothing to write home about, quite ordinary but pricey. Child minders are not very attentive, some are better than others. They need more practice. Children are R100 entrance which is fine. 5/5 for venue and children entertainment 3/5 for wait staff 2.5/5 for food 3/5 for child minders"

"Wow! Lovely place , very lovely place ... highly recommend.... very very very kid friendly Visited 2026/Feb/ 28 Wow! I am so coming back here ! .... Only problem is parking .... kodwa Wow.... Truly loved the place, the staff, the facility, the atmosphere, the play area, the food ( well seasoned), the place was packed but ... but they were somewhat organized .... For kid friendly area - 5 starts ..... Reservation crucial ( especially weekends)"

"Loved every minute of our time at Joy Jozi. Friendly staff Nice, warm indoor area with a fire place. So much for thr kids to do. My daughter didn't want to leave. She enjoyed painting, the slides, swings and the indoor play area. It's a winner for kids. And ideal for birthdays. The food was amazing. This has to be our favorite spot."
